Plurawl App

Redefining professionalism by empowering individuals to be their authentic selves through enhanced emotional intelligence.

Mission

At Plurawl, we're on a mission to redefine professionalism. People are often scared to be themselves, especially at work. We believe that Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the skill that gives individuals the confidence to be their authentic selves, making it the most important skill for success. Our app scales the reach and impact of our teachings, which have already benefited thousands through speaking engagements.

Core Strengths and Unique Approach

Plurawl stands out by linking the benefits of EI to career advancement rather than mental health, making it highly appealing to professionals. Our unique teaching method, using transparent community experiences, resonates with employees at companies like Google, Spotify, Snap, and Northwestern Mutual.

Problem before using Plurawl

Many professionals struggle with being their authentic selves at work, often feeling that their true selves are unprofessional. This leads to a lack of confidence and hindered career growth.
  • Lack of authenticity in professional settings.
  • Lack of authenticity in professional settings.Limited access to EI training and resources.
  • Need for a scalable solution to reach a broader audience.

Solution

We built a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that serves as a marketplace platform. Sellers can create listings and buyers can place bids on those listings. Seed Market will facilitate and secure transactions between sellers and buyers.

A/B Testing

We brainstormed on a couple different UI/UX for the main shop screen. We then A/B tested the different screens to determine which provided a better shopping experience while also measuring which created a high add to wardrobe. rate. .

The Market

The market for EI training is vast, with significant potential impact on workplace culture and individual career growth. Plurawl aims to tap into this market by offering a unique, scalable solution.

Competitive Analysis: eBay

Since Seed Market didn't have a clear direct competitor, we reverse-engineered other popular ecommerce / marketplace apps by using a tool called Page Flows and chose to analyze eBay. Why eBay? Well, it was the most popular platform where users can bid and hold auctions. Seed farmers regularly negotiate price and quantity; therefore, we wanted to analyze if adding auction features were feasible for Seed Market.

User Specific Features

Farmers

With Seed Market, farmers can easily manage their inventory in one place. Seed Market will help farmers manage the state of each listing, allowing them to easily sell their seed. Purity analysis reports are required for all listings. Additionally, selling your seed has never been easier. Simply list your seed, accept a bid and get paid within 30 days.

Buyers

Instead of being limited to a select few farmers in their immediate area, seed buyers have access to a broader market and therefore better prices.

Insight

Outcome from user survey

In hopes of minimizing the workload of creating a seed listing, we initially believed users should only need to choose a prepopulated seed illustration instead of taking a photo of their own seed.

However, after this survey, we learned that our target users strongly preferred interacting with actual photos of seeds. Therefore, we decided to require users to take photos of their seed to create listings, even if it decreased the probability of them completing the user flow.
